Study Skills

Study skills is one of the modules that I don not see any reason for doing this in a computing course as it is about writing paragraphs and doing a play which is totally different thing than what a computer science student should be doing on a computing course.

One of the things that I would like to talk about is the benefits of Skype.
For the Study skills questionaire we have been given a group task that needs to be done by holding a questionaire with the students of science and technology. We had to hold a group meeting which was quite difficult for us as we were in different group and the amount of assignments we had and part-time job. But we still managed to pull it off by using Skype. Skype can be really useful when it comes to communicating to people around the world without actually meeting them and this is exactly what we did as a group.
